Pipeline is bidirectional for all fields but company name. Changing a company name inside of Pipeline will not sync that change back to Google. In order to streamline your sync/remove duplicates, start with your Gmail contacts > find duplicates (merge or delete)
Let these updates sync with Pipeline (happens hourly). Then make changes in Pipeline (merge, delete) so they match Google company names.
