Email Sync Setup
The PipelineDeals email sync supports Gmail and Microsoft Exchange (including Outlook, Office 365, Outlook.com, and ActiveSync) email accounts.
Microsoft Exchange emails need to be cloud-based and is not compatible with on-site servers.
Sign in to PipelineDeals and in either the Home or Email tabs click Sync my email. Select your email provider, Google or Microsoft Exchange. Your email must match the email you use to log in to your PipelineDeals account.
Next, you'll be asked by your email service provider to approve the connection. You will be prompted to log in to your email.
You may be asked to use your Exchange username and server under Advanced Settings
The Email sync can support IMAP configurations for cloud-based emails, such as those hosted by GoDaddy (and other cloud-based domains on an Exchange server). Sync using an IMAP configuration: click Sync my Email > Microsoft Exchange > enter your email address > select Other > fill out the advanced settings using your IMAP and SMTP host ports.
Note: You will need to use your Outlook365 server settings to configure the sync using IMAP
After you've approved the connection, your emails for the past 60 days will automatically be synced to PipelineDeals. This historical sync can take some time, and so while that is being completed, you'll see the message below:
Once this sync has been completed, the past 30 days of emails to and from your contacts in PipelineDeals will automatically be imported and associated to the appropriate person (based on email address).
