How do I edit a deal's Actual Close date?
Administrators in the account can edit the Actual Close date on the deal's profile page. Click on the date, and a calendar picker will pop up.
Is there a way to report on all deals closing in a certain month?
Yes! Depending on the month you are trying to filter, you can either use the simple sentence to filter by deal stage or use our advanced filtering and filter under the Expected Close column.
Is there any way to do a search to find duplicate deals?
The easiest way to search for duplicates is to select the deal name column header and put all the deals in alphabetical order by name. Then you can scroll through to see if you have any duplicates.
How can I see when a deal changed stage?
There are two ways to view the stage history:
1. On the deal profile page: In the Activities section, filter for the Activity Category called 'Deal.'
2. In the Activity Report: Filter for the deal(s) you wish to view, then filter in the Category column for 'Deal.' The Description column will show the stage change(s), and the Written On column will show the date and time of each change.
Are tags only for individual people and not deals?
Yes, but you can add a custom field in your Account Settings for deal tags (create a deal custom field of type 'picklist'). Note: Only account admins have access to Account Settings
How do I add a collaborator to a deal?
You can collaborate or "share" a deal with another user in your account by clicking Actions > Share in the upper right hand corner of any deal profile. Any user you've shared a deal with will be listed in the "Collaborators" area of the Deal Details box within the deal profile.
How do I list deals by most recent activity?
In the Deals list view, click on the "Columns" button and check the box under "Latest Activity Fields" for "Latest Activity Updated." Once the column appears, click the column header to sort it by date.
Can I merge a Deal?
No. Unlike merging Companies and People, deal merging is not a supported feature at this time. The best way to work around this is to manually copy the information from the duplicate Deal and update the Deal you'd like to keep. Then delete the duplicate Deal by going to its profile page and selecting Actions > Delete.
Why is my delete or merge button grey?
You will need to ask your administrator to delete or merge the items for you or they will need to adjust your user settings to enable you to make those changes in your account.
